Give a little love with Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm

We love Nelson’s Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm.  It is a unique dual purpose treat which can be used to help you and your Valentine totally relax on 14th February.

Enriched with Arnicare extract, Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm harnesses the invaluable natural properties of Arnica.

Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm provide a lovely bathing experience where you can feel your aches and pains slipping away.

For the complete romantic hit, indulge in a massage too.

Here are some tips from Michelle Juniper, Health and Beauty Specialist from Tip to Toe to make sure you get it right on the night

  • Start by warming the balm in your hands.  Apply to the massage area using the long smooth strokes with the whole of your hands using palms and fingers.  This helps to warm the balm and spread it evenly on the skin.
  • If applying stronger pressure, focus on the fleshy areas where there is more muscle.  Avoid hard pressure over the bones of the spine, instead stroking down the muscles at the side of the spine.
  • As you massage, the Sweet Almond Oil, the Evening Primrose Oil and Calenda extract contained in Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm will help to nourish and hydrate the skin.
  • Try to focus on working in time with the person’s breathing to help soothe and relax your loved one.
  • When working on tense areas or knots, use smaller, deeper movements that work the tension away from the area and continue past the area of tension.  The sense of the essential oils of Lavender and Grapefruit essential oils in Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm can help to melt away any tension and relax the mind.
  • End by using the same long smooth strokes you started with to help comfort and relax the muscles.

Nelson’s Arnicare Bath and Massage Balm costs £8.15 and is available from Boots.
